About Carol Ann

UPDATE AUGUST 2005

On February 24, 2001, I lost my step father to bone cancer. I've gone to Columbus to be with my mother. I will be helping her settle her estate.

I am fortunate to be able to spend this time with my family. Remember, the MOST important things in life, this life, are your friends, family AND relationships with others. You CAN make a difference in the life of others.

I hit a 'milestone' in 2003. So I decided to have a child before it was too late. One month later I was pregnant. I had a wonderful pregnancy. Other than the weightgain, I would say I was blessed with an uneventful 10 months (yes 40 weeks, can you believe it?).

On March 24, 2004, my daughter was born! See pictures of Morgan. How lucky am I?

Work Life

My experience includes Sales, Management, Marketing, Advertising, and New Business Development. I have a background in the High End Jewelry and Commercial Real Estate industries. I am currently managing my mother's business in Columbus and am working on expanding it to include Corporate Liquor sales.

Can you believe this
is a polaroid shot?

What do I enjoy doing?

I like many outdoor activities that include roller blading, snow skiing, horseback riding, boating, jet skiing, snowmobiling, motorcycle riding (though I don't do much of this since no one is willing to let me ride their Harley), sky diving (see what happened on my first jump!), fishing (yes, fishing!!), Braves Baseball Games and Football Games (live)... I definitely enjoy the great outdoors and am willing to try just about anything!

I spend some of my free time volunteering with Charities . My favorites are the hands-on type where I can actually meet the people that I am helping. I also attend many socials relating to the Commercial Real Estate Industry and serve on a variety of Committees.

I enjoy indoor activities, too! (Can you believe it?) I work on this site (of course) and like spending time with my closest friends and family. I would like to share my time with the special person in my life (when I get one) enjoying intimate dinners, traveling (especially weekend getaways) and just sharing each other!

Hmmm, what else? Oh, I love fine dining (not just eating), fine wines, champagne and martinis!

What do my friends think?

I asked a few friends how they would describe me and after the physical descriptions, they said "compassionate, aggressive, successful, funny (especially after a few drinks), and sincere" "one who walks into a room as if she owns the place".

Put quite simply, I am just a girl who happens to be very fortunate with a wonderful family, great friends and a perception of the world as it should be. I live an honest life and surround myself with others like me.

My mother adopted a chihuahua to give to me as a gift! Her name is Charlie. Take a Look!

BOOKS WRITTEN BY MY FRIENDS!!

"Passionate Sex : Discover the Special Power in You"
Written by Dr. Dan Stein, a world-renowned gynecologist! Okay, I read this one. It's detailed and to the point. Dr. Dan discusses the many aspects of a healthy, active sex life. Geared towards couples to assist them in maintaining a healthy sex life and towards singles who are wanting to know not only how to please themselves, but also their partner. A book for ALL people. (Look for me on the acknowledgment page!)

"A Taste Of Hollywood: The Story of Ma Maison"
Written by Patrick Terrail, former owner of Ma Maison in Hollywood. Ma Maison was the greatest restaurant in the country. The rich and famous made it their home away from home. I'm sure that if you take your book to his restaurant in Hogansville called Gaby's...Patrick would sign it!

My nickname was Sweety How cute!
I was born Sagittarian!

These are my qualities and I must say they are quite accurate (it's scary!)

A seeker and quester, restless, far-ranging intellect, can speak with just about anyone about anything, insatiable gatherer of information, adventurous, thrive in an atmosphere of intellectual inquiry, restless, natural buoyancy, optimistic, cheer up other people, get overextended rather easily, open to opportunity and expectation of good things, considered lucky, active sense of humor, verbal expression, a bit verbose, honesty is a strong impulse and prone to foot-in-mouth experiences due to excessive bluntness, focus on the large perspective and love to learn.
